On November 29, 2024, I had the pleasure of attending the general meeting of the Green Party’s Bergheim chapter. The welcoming atmosphere of the Medio Lounge provided the perfect setting for engaging discussions about political strategies and an opportunity to look ahead, particularly to the 2025 elections.
I had the chance to present myself and my program, which was an incredibly motivating experience. Sharing my ideas and visions for the upcoming year and collaborating on potential strategies was truly rewarding. I was especially impressed by the lively discussions and the shared commitment to approaching 2025 with a clear direction. The contributions and questions from members demonstrated remarkable dedication and a deep-rooted connection to the core values of the Greens.
Another highlight of the evening was Uwe Ulbrich’s presentation on the future project “Kapelle Bethlehem.” His insights highlighted how sustainable and social initiatives can serve as a solid foundation for the future development of our region. This project is a testament to the transformative potential of such efforts.
Of course, the social aspect wasn’t neglected. Over mulled wine and snacks, we had the chance to reflect on the year in a relaxed atmosphere and make new connections. It was a wonderful blend of productive discussions and personal interactions.
My heartfelt thanks go to Astrid Dahmen and Alexander Milak for the warm invitation and their excellent moderation throughout the evening. I am excited about the next steps and look forward to working together with the Greens in Bergheim to continue driving progress in our region.
With an optimistic outlook on 2025, I am eager to actively contribute to shaping the future and turning our shared ideas into reality.
